The visual inspiration for this utility box design is drawn from the 1940s rubber hose style of the Golden Age of American animation. The artwork features a Technicolor-inspired palette and cartoon character designs representing native plant and wildlife, reimagined with a modern twist. Embracing the Hollywood theme, the design incorporates the name of the local street, Hollywood Blvd. Additionally, one of the characters is a comet, paying homage to the nearby middle school's mascot and its Video Production Magnet Program.
